Audio Box
The AudioBox is an optional expansion box working with a microphone and an audio Pc line-in. It has an internal hardware optimized to process the audio over time. The microphone is used to detect the Voice Reaction Time and can be controlled by the software used to run the experiment (i.e. Matlab). The AudioBox detects sounds from PC Sound-Card and synchronizes their onset with a trigger output. The Audio Box uses the Probe A connector as input in the main unit of the Trigger Station and works also in combination with the Photodiode. AudioBox board provides three preprocessing levels of the audio signal while the Trigger Station main unit provides the signal classification and triggers the synchronization with the external devices via the output connectors.

Photodiode
Trigger Station is equipped with a Photodiode probe. We can provide you with two different photodiodes: Analogical and Digital probe. The analogical probe has an adjustable threshold, particularly useful in paradigms using videos. The digital probe is fast and particularly suitable for attentional paradigms or with screen with fast refreshing rate (>=100Hz).
